Belt and Road Initiative’s MCDF supports AfDB studies on Luapula dams in Kinshasa and Zambia
Long in the pipeline and one of SADC’s priority projects, these dams, totalling almost 800 MW, were the subject of a pre-agreement for development between Zambia and DR Congo in 2022. MCDF’s assistance will support the AfDB’s studies to update these long-standing projects.
