Prysmian Tunisia to double production area and raise annual revenue to €20m

The company is part of the Italian group Prysmian, a world leader in manufacturing automotive power cables and optical fibres for the telecommunications sector, with sales of €16 billion in 2022.

With these new investments in optical connectivity, Prysmian Tunisia aims to increase its annual turnover by 25%. Prysmian is looking for a new site to rent in the Tunis area to vertically integrate the production chain of optical fibre and connectivity systems. The aim is to double the surface area dedicated to production to more than 10,000 m2 and recruit around a hundred more people.
