He is however not interested in Union Internationale de Banques, the Tunisian subsidiary of Société Générale (52.34%), where the French group has also launched a “strategic review” and a non-exclusive discussion process.

Meanwhile, Simon Tiemtore, the Burkinabe head of Vista Bank (Lilium Capital), has yet to complete his takeover of Oragroup, announced six months ago (Africa Business+, 18 October 2022).
