AfDB’s AG3F fund aims to mobilise $100m by 2025

The African Green Finance Facility fund, managed by Audrey-Cynthia Yamadjako, has just awarded its first two pilot envelopes: $800,000 to Caisse des dépôts et consignations du Bénin (CDC Bénin) and $625,000 to Banque nationale de Côte d’Ivoire (BNI).

The African Green Finance Facility (AG3F) is an African Development Bank (AfDB) initiative in support of its Green Banking Initiative. AG3F aims to green African commercial and public banks’ lending to SMEs, local governments and individual entrepreneurs.
