The investment of 30 million dinars (€9 million) is at a site in Kairouan, 160 km south of Tunis. It will employ 2,000 people in manufacturing electric harnesses (motors, cockpits, chassis, navigation systems, ABS, etc.) to equip the internal combustion and electric vehicles of Cofat‘s European customers, such as the Stellantis (Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, Fiat, Chrysler) and Volkswagen (including, Audi, Seat) groups.
