Despite Uber’s unequalled clout and market value of about $65bn, and Bolt’s announcement of a $500m investment in Africa, Heetch seeks to gain an edge in the fiercely competitive African market. The company, founded by Teddy Pellerin and Jacob Mathieu, hopes to deliver this through a vehicle financing offer for its drivers.
