The management of CMA CGM – led by Rodolphe Saadé, son of the founder, Jacques Saadé, and current CEO of the group – has agreed to appoint Stéphane Courquin as the new senior vice president, head of Africa regional office and Africa lines.This manager is familiar with the continent, having lived there for several years, notably in Durban, when he headed Delmas’s South African branch, a competitor CMA CGM swallowed in 2005.
