Sudanese tycoon Osama Daoud Abdellatif’s DAL Group receives $50m support from UK’s BII

The DAL group, headed by one of the country’s most powerful businessmen, has leveraged its strategic position in the Sudanese agribusiness sector to negotiate an advance from the UK’s development finance agency to meet national needs.

According to the British International Investment (BII), the US$50 million package released to the DAL conglomerate will “support food availability in Sudan”.
