Cameroon vs Exxon and Petronas – arbitration takes another step forward in Paris
Yaoundé and the oil companies Exxon and Petronas have agreed on the constitution of a Cirdi arbitration tribunal. The agreement comes after a long-standing dispute over the conditions for transferring interests in the pipeline linking Chad to Cameroon.

ExxonMobil and Petronas wish to withdraw from the pipeline operated by Cameroon Oil Transportation Company SA. Both have been co-shareholders for two decades in the company and have now taken another step in their arbitration against Cameroon.
