As one of the few recent issues in the private corporate segment of the bond market (the last one conducted by Oragroup was at the end of 2021), Pétro Ivoire‘s exit from the BRVM is not a first for the group. It had already issued a bond in 2013 for CFA F 3 billion (€4.5 million) with the support of EDC Investment. It then conducted private placements in 2020 for CFA F 3.9 billion and in 2021 for CFA F 3.5 billion). However, this exit is unprecedented in size.
