Senegal : Sococim Industries to complete new furnace financing
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has offered the Senegalese subsidiary of French cement manufacturer Vicat a credit facility of up to €120 million to finance the construction of its new energy-efficient kiln line (Kiln 6).

This will enable the company to produce an additional 6,500 tonnes of clinker per day, i.e. two million tonnes more per year, at its Rufisque site.
