Aera is a specialist in the carbon credit market in Africa. Based in Paris, the company has a portfolio of 50 projects in 20 African countries. It claims to have sold 55 million tonnes of carbon and recently initialled two forward sales agreements with EDF Trading and BP, and Ecosphere+.
