Axian’s Togocom will not appeal regulatory fine
The mobile operator of Hassanein Hiridjee’s group will not contest the fine of CFAF 2.4 billion ($3.6 million) set at the end of June by the Electronic Communications and Posts Regulatory Authority (Arcep) before the Supreme Court.

In contrast to 2021, when Togocom challenged the CFA 1 billion (€1.5 million) penalty imposed on Togo Cellulaire for violating the rule of non-differentiation of inter- and intra-network tariffs, Hassanein Hiridjee‘s group has no desire to repeat this. The latter had been dismissed in this previous procedure.
