Africa Business + has learned that Alexandre Vilgrain, who succeeded his father, Jean-Louis Vilgrain, as CEO in 1995, is leaving the helm of the Société d’organisation, de management et de développement des industries alimentaires et agricoles (Somdiaa), a French miller and sugar producer 87% owned by the Castel group, a global beverage giant.
