Bankingly plans hubs in Nigeria and Morocco after raising $10 million

The Uruguayan fintech offering digitalisation solutions to banks and microfinance institutions has clients in Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda and South Africa. It has just raised $10 million to continue its expansion in Africa, Latin America and Asia.

“Because of the great potential that Africa represents for our company, we expect to invest at least half of this fundraising for our development on the continent. Our objective is to strengthen our penetration in countries where we already have clients by doubling our sales teams and through a massive marketing strategy. Our goal is to set up hubs in Nigeria and Morocco,” Martin Naor, Bankingly founder and CEO, told Africa Business+.
