The negotiations to finance the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project in the Kenyan capital are intensifying between Nairobi and international players. For BRT 3, one of the five expected lines, the budget to be raised amounts to more than €300 million. While discussions have been underway for several years with institutions from the European Union, things are becoming more evident with the European Investment Bank.
