Several advisors surrounded ENI and SNAM for this unprecedented operation. On the financial side, notably the valuations, according to information obtained by Africa Busines+, ENI was supported by Rothschild & Co. SNAM used the Italian bank Unicredit and Costagama, a boutique created by Claudio Costamagna, a former Goldman Sachs employee.
