Britain’s leading wholly state-owned DFI will now be led by a woman from the digital sector. Diana Layfield was appointed chairwoman as part of a reform announced on 25 November by Liz Truss, the Foreign Secretary responsible for commonwealth and development, during an event at the LSE.
