The Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (TDB), the East African development bank focused on trade finance, received a welcome boost to its financing for economic operators. The Canadian development agency FinDev, headed since March 2021 by Lori Kerr (ex-Inter-American Development Bank), will provide US$20 million in credit facilities to the bank led by Ethiopian Admassu Tadesse, CEO since 2011.
