Xlinks wants to install 10.5 GW of electrical capacity in Guelmim using solar panels and wind turbines. A 5 GW and 20 GWh storage unit will also be installed to provide the UK with a continuous supply via a 3,800 km cable running along the Portuguese, Spanish and French coasts.
