“The expansion is for ten countries, so we will build at least ten data centres; it could even be a little more,” explained Stéphane Duproz. At the forefront of his strategy is the Maghreb: including Tunisia and Morocco. But so is Egypt, in the Mashreq. The CEO justified these targets by the group’s already substantial presence in the south, east and west of the continent.
