The arbitration between Shell Petroleum, its local subsidiary The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which officially started on 10 February, has taken a new turn with the disqualification of arbitrator Neil Kaplan just three days after his appointment by the oil major.
