At the end of April, Stéphane Brabant should have drawn the curtain on more than three decades spent in several companies’ service, first with PwC, then with the firm Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) since 1998, where he was a partner. At 65, the lawyer finally decided to pursue his career as a senior partner at Trinity International, which he joined with Lucien Bou Chaaya, for the past eight years a former associate of the energy and infrastructure team at HSF.
