The diversified Japanese holding company Mitsui & Co. has decided to approve the payment of 1.2 billion dirhams (€112 million) to its Moroccan subsidiary, Safi Electricity Company (Safiec), the 1 386 MW coal-fired power plant based in Safi, 320 km southwest of the capital, Rabat.
