Namibia: Paladin recapitalises to reopen uranium mine

The Australian group, supported by China National Nuclear Corp (CNNC), has raised nearly $170 million to relaunch Langer Heinrich, one of Namibia’s largest uranium mines. The mine has been shut since 2018.

Paladin Energy, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), has completed the first part of its capital increase of A$218.7 million ($166 million).
