Pascal Agboyibor and Bob Bastos, the two co-founders of Asafo, spearheaded the deal. The lawyers trained respectively at the University Lille-II and Sciences-Po Paris, former Orrick alumni, are in the 2020 annual ranking of the most influential lawyers in Africa published by Jeune Afrique. Pascal Agboyibor was ranked second.
