“The process has been slightly delayed, but we expect to close before the end of the year,” a source within AfricInvest told us. Despite the Covid crisis, the pan-African investor, managing a portfolio worth some $1.5bn, continues to make progress on its many vehicles. With 18 launched since its creation in 1994, its latest is the Fonds Franco-African (FFA), focused on French SMEs and ETIs with ambitions or activities in Africa.
