For several years, the French banking group has been introducing a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) filter to redirect its client companies’ portfolios towards more responsible objectives. This has resulted in the setting up of a dedicated department, a detailed review of the projects in which BNP Paribas was already involved, and the establishment of a framework for new financing requests.
