“We are opening a Radisson Collection hotel in Bamako in November,” says Tim Cordon, Senior Area Vice President, Middle East and Africa. The group, which is owned by a consortium led by Chinese hospitality company Jin Jiang, has seen a sharp decline in activity in recent months, but does not intend to slow the pace of its openings, launching its second Mali hotel as planned. The Radisson name has been present in the country since 2008, thanks to a property in the ACI 2000 business district.
