After bitter negotiations that lasted over a year, the Ivorian state has renewed the concession contract for the production, distribution, transport and export of electricity for the Compagnie Ivoirienne d’Electricité (CIE), a subsidiary of French group Eranove, which is controlled by the African-American investment fund Emerging Capital Partners (ECP).
