Following the publication of our article on 28 August concerning the wrangling between the Beninese authorities and Yérim Sow’s Teyliom Group over the Noom Hotel in Cotonou, the entrepreneur – whom we had approached for comment at the time without success – has contacted us with the following information.

The Teyliom Group, through its Legal Director, Junior Doukouré, informs us that it believes “the Beninese Ministry of Economy and Finance has demolished the hotel in question, the construction of which cost 15bn CFA francs, based on fallacies”.
