SODECO (Société pour le Développement du Coton) remains primarily a family business headed by Lionel Talon, the Head of State’s son, who took over a few years ago from the previous Chairman, Eustache Kotingan. René Togbé, who was CEO, has not been replaced. However, Karen Talon, Patrice Talon’s daughter, plays a key role in the company, leading the commercial management team.
