Burkinabe Komboïgo could have done without this latest episode in the dispute with Canal+. In a letter addressed to the Faso procurator close to the high court in Ouagadougou dated 14 July read by Jeune Afrique Business+, lawyers representing Amidou Nikiema, former partner at Prosat, owned by Komboïgo, make accusations of extorsion, fraud and usurpation of title or office against the Burkinabe businessman, politician and candidate for the next presidential election. We contacted K. Frédéric Hermann Minoungou, a partner with SCPA Legalis, who explained that at it is too early to tell at this stage. “We are waiting to see what the procurator will make of the document”, he said briefly.
