Puratos, the Belgian family group with a turnover of €2bn, is currently developing a network of four factories producing baking products (such as premixes, fruit fillings and chocolate). These new subsidiaries and manufacturing units are located in the capital cities of Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Kenya with the assistance of local partners – in Ethiopia, the group is working with Dachi Manufacturing PLC, and in Nigeria, with the Adegunwa family (Flour Mills of Nigeria PLC and Rite Foods).
