“We are anticipating 30-40% of the usual level of activity for the months of July and August,” warns Xavier Mary, General Manager of Blaise Diagne International Airport, in conversation with Jeune Afrique Business+. The opening of Senegalese airspace, announced by the Head of State on 29 June and scheduled for 15 July, does not yet appear to have prompted the industry’s expected sigh of relief.
