On 24 June, a presidential decree signed by Ismail Omar Guelleh formally appointed Leïla Bouamatou, CEO of Mauritanian bank Générale de Banque de Mauritanie (GBM), as an independent director of the new Djibouti sovereign fund, Fonds souverain de Djibouti (FSD), whose creation was enshrined in a law adopted on 29 March.
