As reported by Jeune Afrique Business+ last October, Axa One Health, the insurer’s new healthcare venture, started opening its first clinics in Egypt, the pilot country, at the end of 2019, with a budget of €50m. A first Axa Africa Health facility was launched last November in Cairo, while another just opened last week in the capital. By the end of the year, a total of seven to eight clinics will be up and running in Cairo and Alexandria.
