Chiheb Ben Ahmed, appointed as President and CEO of Tunisia’s national railway company, Société nationale des chemins de fer tunisien (SNCFT), had ruled out the once-planned privatisation of the state-owned company in 2014, when he was serving as Minister of Transport under Mehdi Jomaa’s government.
