Since 24 April 2020, the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has a new chairman of the board of directors, Kingsley Obiora. The Nigerian – who holds a doctorate in Monetary & International Economics from the University of Ibadan and a second in Econometrics from George Washington University – will continue to serve in his current position as deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, where he is responsible for economic policy and financial system.
