Supply of hydrocarbons: Mauritania reappoints Oryx Energies after Litasco (Lukoil) withdraws
The Mauritanian government has selected Swiss company Oryx Energies as hydrocarbon supplier for a period of eight months, starting on 15 April 2020 and ending on 31 December 2020.

Oryx in effect succeeds itself, given that it was the winner of the previous contract covering the period April 2018-April 2019, awarded at the time by the National Commission of Hydrocarbons (CNH). The CNH is supervised by the Mauritanian Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Mines, which has a monopoly on the import of hydrocarbons.
