The event has been established with the aim of becoming a benchmark gathering for the promotion of cybersecurity among policymakers. According information obtained for this report, the Cyber Africa Forum, which is scheduled to take place on 29 April at the Maison de l’entreprise in Abidjan and expected to host 300 experts from the sector, banks and insurance firms, industry and telecoms companies as well as political leaders, will probably be postponed until September as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
