“For the moment, we are counting on the recovery plan starting on 4 April,” explained the group’s CEO, Bassem Loukil, to Jeune Afrique Business+. But the Tunisian businessman, who runs one of the country’s largest enterprises, remains cautious and warns that this “will depend on how the health situation develops.” He confirms that at this stage, “several restart dates are on the table.” In the meantime, the head of government, Elyes Fakhfakh, announced new measures to deal with the crisis on 16 March.
