In detail, the Washington-based institution led by David Malpass will provide two financing facilities through its International Development Association (IDA): a line of credit of $12m over 6 years, and a facility of $113m over 9 years. The AFD, led by Rémy Rioux, is providing $44m, while Werner Hoyer‘s EIB is signing a cheque for $55m. For its part, the Spanish government, via AECID (Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation), is providing $55m. The Senegalese Government ($61m) and the local private sector ($15m) will complete the funding process.
