Cameroonian courts confirm the side-lining of TIL/MSC

Douala International Terminal (DIT), the subsidiary of Bolloré and APM Terminals (Maersk) that has been operating the Douala container terminal for the past 15 years, ceased its operations on 31 December at 2 pm.

As announced in early December, the operation of the port authority Port autonome de Douala (PAD) will be taken over directly under the supervision of the PAD until the awarding of a new concession contract. DIT’s 400 employees have been invited to join the container terminal authority RTC (Régie du terminal à conteneurs).
