According to a reliable source, China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), which recorded latest revenues of $16bn, has won the contract to build the Nouadhibou deepwater port for a total amount of €300m ($334m) as well as the concession contract for two terminals covering an area of 40.2 hectares. The construction and concession components were part of a single bidding lot for this PPP project.
