While Cell C has recently signed a roaming agreement with MTN granting it access to 3G and 4G networks in 95% of the country, the South African telecoms operator is also in discussions with Telkom with a view to a possible takeover. Telkom has confirmed this news and indicated that Nedbank is supervising the talks.
