On 8 August, PSI Netherlands Holding BV reported the sale of 36% of the share capital of Fawry for Banking and Payment Technology Service (“Fawry”) through an IPO on the Cairo Stock Exchange, thereby allowing the partial exit of the three main investment funds that control the entity overseeing the Egyptian electronic payment company.

According to information obtained by Jeune Afrique Business+, the partial capital gain generated by Helios Investment Partners is around $25m (€22.5m) based on a four-year commitment.
