Last week Côte d’Ivoire became the 10th African country to brew Heineken, the flagship brand of the eponymous group, and the first in French speaking sub-Saharan Africa. The other countries holding production licences are Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, Namibia, Ethiopia and Rwanda.
